Pondok Polis Felda Tenang di Besut ditutup sementara akibat banjir setinggi 0.3 meter, kini kembali beroperasi selepas air surut

BESUT: Pondok Polis Felda Tenang di daerah ini terjejas akibat banjir yang melanda ekoran hujan lebat berterusan sejak beberapa hari lalu.

Ketua Polis Terengganu Datuk Mohd Khairi Khairudi berkata premis itu terpaksa ditutup semalam apabila dinaiki air setinggi 0.3 meter.

“Premis terpaksa ditutup semalam dan turut terjejas ialah perumahan anggota di situ,” katanya.

Bagaimanapun beliau berkata pondok polis itu sudah kembali beroperasi hari ini selepas air banjir surut.

“Tiada kerosakan aset kerana barangan dapat dialihkan ke tempat tinggi,” jelasnya.

Mohd Khairi mengingatkan orang ramai agar tidak mengubah suai motosikal untuk bermain atau meredah banjir.

Beliau menegaskan perbuatan itu menyalahi undang-undang dan membahayakan keselamatan.

Polis juga meningkatkan rondaan di kawasan terjejas banjir bagi memastikan keselamatan rumah mangsa.

Langkah ini bagi mengelakkan kejadian pecah rumah ketika penghuninya berpindah ke pusat pemindahan sementara. – Bernama
