KUALA LUMPUR: LGMS Bhd has continued its strong momentum in 2025 by securing multiple honours at the recent Top Employer Awards 2025 by Jobstore, including the coveted Gold Award for Top Employer of Graduate Choice.
The cybersecurity firm also emerged as one of the most recognised organisations of the night, taking home Top Employer of the Year and Top Employer of Best Workplace in the public listed category, along with Top Employer of Best Workplace in the private sector.
The accolades were assessed by a panel representing the Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management, HRDCorp, TalentCorp and the Malaysia HR Forum, underscoring the credibility of the recognition.
The announcement follows LGMS being named Cybersecurity Company of the Year 2025 at the Malaysia Cybersecurity Awards held in conjunction with CyberDSA, reinforcing the company’s position as one of Malaysia’s leading independent cybersecurity providers.
LGMS chairman Fong Choong Fook said the series of awards reflects the company’s long-standing values and commitment to integrity.
“This prestigious recognition reflects the values LGMS has upheld since day one, to provide cybersecurity services that are objective, transparent and free from commercial bias,” he said.
“It also reinforces our commitment to protecting organisations with integrity and to raising the standards of cybersecurity across Malaysia and the region.”
The series of achievements is also timely as LGMS marks its twentieth anniversary, a milestone that underscores the company’s evolution from a small specialist outfit into one of Malaysia’s most trusted names in independent cybersecurity.
“Over two decades, LGMS has expanded our capabilities, deepened our technical bench and built a strong reputation for neutrality, high-assurance testing and rigorous industry standards,” said Fong.
Industry observers say the combination of employer-focused and technical awards points to an organisation that has built strength across both its talent development and service delivery.
With national demand for cybersecurity professionals continuing to rise, LGMS’ growing reputation as a preferred employer is expected to support its long-term capacity-building efforts.
The firm’s recent milestones build on consecutive achievements at the PIKOM Digital Excellence Awards, where LGMS was recognised for excellence in cybersecurity advisory in both 2024 and 2025.
Its StarSentry platform has also secured back-to-back industry awards for innovation in cybersecurity product development.
LGMS’ credibility is further reinforced by recognition from Gartner in its market guidance for cybersecurity services, underscoring the enterprise-grade strength of StarSentry and affirming the company’s standing as a trusted, independently validated cybersecurity partner.
