Felcra Bhd received RM28.1 million in dividends from 13 subsidiaries and associate companies, reflecting its strong financial performance
PUTRAJAYA: Felcra Bhd has received dividends totalling RM28.1 million from 13 of its subsidiaries and associate companies.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said this achievement reflects the group’s strong financial performance and effective management strategies.
“It also reflects Felcra’s increasingly solid financial position in its efforts to empower the rural development agenda,” he said in a statement today.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also the Rural and Regional Development Minister, expressed confidence in the Felcra group to build even greater future success.
The statement followed a dividend presentation ceremony held this morning at the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development.
Ahmad Zahid witnessed the symbolic handover of a replica profit cheque from CEO Datuk Idris Lasim to chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Jazlan Yaakob.
Replica cheques were also presented from the 13 contributing subsidiaries and associate companies.
The Deputy Prime Minister has requested Felcra to submit its Strategic Business Plan for 2026–2036 in the first quarter of 2026.
This plan aims to ensure long-term growth and strengthen the company’s competitiveness for the coming decade.
Ahmad Zahid expressed optimism about Felcra’s teamwork and strategic direction.
He said the company, under Minister of Finance Incorporated, will continue to be a source of pride for the rural community.
“Felcra will become an institution that not only fulfills its social mandate with full integrity but also becomes a driver of competitive and high-impact corporate prosperity,” he said. – Bernama
