10 NGOs lodge police report claiming slanderous post on Facebook about Negri MB

SEREMBAN: Ten non-governmental organisations yesterday lodged a police report claiming that an individual had made a defamatory posting about Negri Sembilan Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan (pix) in his Facebook account.
They joined forces in lodging the report at the Seremban police station at 2.30pm.
Pertubuhan Sahabat Anak Negri Sembilan chairman Mohd Arafat Muhammad, who acted as their spokesman, said they wanted the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to take action against the individual.
The posting is alleged to have mocked the MB's statement regarding repairs to the damaged portion of the main market here which caught fire recently. — Bernama
