MB: No release of water from Tasik Kenyir dam

KUALA TERENGGANU: The Terengganu government today dismissed a rumour by some quarters that water would be released soon from the Tasik Kenyir Dam because the level had exceeded the danger point.
Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said water at the dam was at the normal level.
"I was informed by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) that the situation at the dam is under control.
"Do not believe the rumour on the social media. We will not release the water from the dam," he told reporters after handing out aid to fishermen here. – Bernama
