Light aircraft crashes in Senai

SENAI: Doubts have arisen on the probable cause of an emergency crash landing of a light aircraft (N9297N) at the golf field of Le Grandeur Palm Villa Resort, along Jalan Mewah in Senai at 1.30pm today which caused a stir in the normally quiet town.
"A team of fire fighters from the Kulai Jaya Fire Department was despatched to the scene, but the pilot had already been sent to the Kulai Hospital" said its state operations chief, Rizal Buang.
It is learnt from sources that the pilot who is in his 30's and believed to be a Singaporean suffered light injuries.
The aircraft is registered to Syarikat Air Force Sdn. Bhd.
