PARENTS always want the best baby products in the market for their little ones.
With this in mind, Watsons Malaysia recently launched the Baby Naturals by Watsons range of products made with certified organic calendula oil from Australia.
Calendula has long been sought for its healing properties. It is known to aid in deeply moisturising and hydrating the skin, which is a benefit for even young skin.
With moisturising calendula, Baby Naturals is good for sensitive skin. It is also a safe and delicate skincare solution for both mother and baby.
At the recent product launch at Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon at Sunway Lagoon in Sunway, Watsons Malaysia chief executive officer Caryn Loh said: “Watsons is always ahead in product innovation to provide our customers variety within our stores, and we are proud of Baby Naturals as we can give cheer to the little ones too.”
There are four products in the Baby Naturals range with calendula.
The first is Calendula Hair & Body Wash, which helps retain moisture in the skin and makes hair feel silky soft. This mild wash is extra gentle to the eyes and cleans skin and hair, leaving baby’s delicate skin and hair soft and smooth.
The Calendula Lotion helps maintain the skin’s moisture balance. This quick-absorbing baby lotion provides lightweight hydration to the skin.
The Calendula Moisturising Cream is a rich baby cream that provides intense and long-lasting moisture without the greasy feeling, leaving baby’s delicate skin soft and smooth.
Finally, the Calendula Massage Oil helps prevent skin from drying out, and leaves it soft. Free from mineral oil, this massage oil will absorb into the skin without clogging the baby’s skin pores.
Subang Jaya Medical Centre general pediatrician Dr Meera Thalayasingam said: “Gentle care for the little one is vital. [My] research study on massage therapy suggests [that there are] beneficial effects in pre-term infants, post-operation cardiac patients, and people suffering from constipation.
“[However] there are limited benefits for [patients with] lower back pain and tendinitis.”
