PETALING JAYA: The 20th series of the Keris Strike exercise between the Malaysian Army (TDM) and the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) kicked off today and will go on until Aug 5.
The 12-day bilateral exercise will be conducted in three locations, Syed Sirajuddin Camp in Gemas, Negri Sembilan, Mahkota Camp in Kluang and Pulada Camp in Ulu Tiram, Johor Baru.
The annual TDM-USARPAC exercise aims to help army officers gain knowledge and experience on humanitarian and disaster relief assistance.
It also strengthens the military-to-military relationship between the two countries and provides exposure on field operation procedures.
