Dzulkifli begins task as MACC Chief Commissioner

PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad (pix) today begins his term as Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's boss.
Arriving promptly at the commission's headquarters here at 8am, he was welcomed by MACC's top officials led by deputy commissioner (Management and Professionalism), Datuk Seri Mohd Jamidan Abdullah.
Among the officials present were MACC Security Division officer Datuk Alias Salim and MACC Investigation Division director Datuk Azam Baki.
Prior to his new appointment as MACC chief commissioner, replacing Tan Sri Dr Abu Kassim Mohamed, Dzulkifli served in the Attorney-General's Chambers as National Revenue Recovery Enforcement Team director.
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Ali Hamsa on Friday announced Dzulkifli's appointment effective Aug 1, 2016 till July 31, 2021.
Meanwhile, Abu Kassim would would be serving in another capacity, as Integrity consultant at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM )'s Law Faculty. — Bernama
