Two killed in three-vehicle road crash in Serian

KUCHING: Two people were killed, and another was seriously injured, in a road crash involving three vehicles in Kampung Munggo Limo, Jalan Serian-Sri Aman yesterday.
A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the crash involved a Mitsubishi Triton 4WD and two cars, a Proton Iswara and a Proton FLX.
He said the two victims killed in the crash were travelling in the Proton Iswara and identified them as seven-year-old Olip Anak Jones and Sarina Anak Mut, 30.
The injured was Jones Anak Gara, in his 40s, who is Olip's father, said the spokesman, adding that those travelling in the other two vehicles were not injured.
Firemen from the Serian Fire and Rescue station rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 7.51pm. — Bernama
