KUALA LUMPUR: Not wanting to miss out on the call for reformation, over 400 people from the Orang Asli community joined the Bersih 5 rally today.
Jaringan Kampung Orang Asli Semenanjung Malaysia (JKOASM) chairperson Tijah Yok Chopil said while the Orang Asli may have patience, they could not tolerate the alleged malpractices in the country over the years.
"All this while, we remained quiet because we are patient. But now they are all gone.
"Now, we Orang Asli will voice us and fight any corruption in the country," she said to the roar of some 2,000 strong Bersih supporters in front of National Mosque, here.
It is learnt that the 400 Orang Asli representatives had come from Perak, Kelantan, Pahang, Johor, Negri Sembilan and Selangor.
