Kelantan Sultan Attends Maulidur Rasul Event At Muhammadi Mosque

KOTA BARU: The Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V attended the state-level Maulidur Rasul celebration at Masjid Muhammadi, here, on Sunday night.

The Sultan was accompanied by Tengku Mahkota Kelantan, Tengku Dr Muhammad Faiz Petra and Mentri Besar, Datuk Ahmad Yakob.

Sultan Muhammad V performed Maghrib prayers with the large congregation led by chief imam of the Kelantan Islamic Religious Council, Muhammad Hana Pizi Abdullah.

The Sultan also listened to a talk given by special officer to the director-general of the Malaysia Islamic Development Department (Jakim), Mohamad Zarifi Mohamad Daud, in conjunction with the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

The event was followed by Isyak prayers and berzanji, qasidah and selawat sessions. — Bernama
