Of coffee, prizes and rewards

WONDA COFFEE recently announced the winners of its AnugERAh Wonda and the Wonda Ronda contests.
The coffee brand basically gave away an estimated sum of RM84,000 in cash prizes and vehicles to the winners of the two contests as part of its first International Wonda Coffee Day. Over 700 submissions were received for the AnugERAh Wonda contest while the Wonda Ronda received an estimated 800 entries.
CONTESTS INSPIRING CREATIVITY
The AnugERAh Wonda comprised three categories: #EPIKTARIKWONDA, #RAIKANWONDA and #LAWAKPOWERWONDA. Grand prize winners for each of these categories took home RM10,000 while first and second runners-up received RM1,000 each.
The Wonda Ronda challenge presented four winners with a Vespa scooter each.
Etika Sdn Bhd marketing and business development vice-president Hemalatha Ragavan said that the company was pleased with the response from both the contests, as well as the turnout in conjunction with International Wonda Coffee Day. She also stated that they were pleased with the contest results which inspired creativity among Malaysians. “We felt very honoured with the overwhelming response, so much so we extended the prizes to both the first and second runners-up.
“It is our way of giving back to our loyal coffee fans who have been so supportive and made the effort to participate in the contests. “Seeing all the happy faces at the prize-giving ceremony has proved that this was the right move. And as a brand, Wonda Coffee played a part in making our customers’ day,” Hemalatha said.
INTERNATIONAL WONDA COFFEE DAY
Wonda Coffee celebrated its third International Coffee Day by renaming the occasion International Wonda Coffee Day.
According to Etika Sdn Bhd marketing manager Amy Gan, the change of name gave Wonda a sense of ownership, “to own something that is related to coffee and make it special among our fellow customers”.
Wonda Coffee treated guests to promotions, surprises and activities, and offered unlimited coffee refills via its Wonda Dispensing Billboard at the event.
