Fire destroys stationery shop frequented by UiTM students

SHAH ALAM: A fire today destroyed a stationery shop here frequented by students of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).
No one was injured in the fire at the double-storey shop which was reported to the Selangor Fire and Rescue Service at 6.13am.
A spokesman of the service said fire-fighters arrived nine minutes later only to find the top floor of the shop destroyed.
He said the shop was frequented by UiTM students of the Art and Design degree programme from the Section 7 main campus.
The cause of the fire and damage had yet to be ascertained, he added. — Bernama
