Water supply disruption in PD, Seremban and Rembau on Jan 10-11

SEREMBAN: Consumers in several areas in Port Dickson, Seremban and Rembau will face temporary water supply disruption on Jan 10 and 11 following installation works and cleaning of the Sungai Linggi Water Treatment Plant (LRA) reservoir.
Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (SAINS) said in a statement that the announcement on the water supply disruption was for a period of 24 hours from 8 am (Jan 10).
The affected areas in Port Dickson are from Escort Estate, Kampung (Kg.) Sawah Sunggala, Bandar Sunggala, 6th Mile Taman Sirusa Jaya, Jalan Pantai, the whole area of 5th Mile Jln. Pantai, 5th Mile Military Camps Jln. Pantai, 4th Mile Military Camps Jln. Pantai, Kg. Baru Sirusa, Jln. Sua Betong, Tmn. Desa PD, Kg. Barisan and the Air Kuning area up to Tampin Linggi area.
Also affected are the 4th Mile Area, Jln. Pantai, Kg. Bgn. Pinang area, Tmn. PD Utama, Tmn. Raja Zainal, Tmn. Too Kee Kah, Transit Quarters, Jln. Shell Refinery, Happy Garden, 1st Mile, Jln. Pantai area up to the whole area of PD Town, Jln. Lama, Kg. Chokra, Tmn. Muhibah, Tmn. Puteri, Kg. Arab, Tmn. PD Akasia, Kg. Air Meleleh, Kg. Gelam, Tmn. PD Tropika, Tmn. Sri Mawar, Jln. Bypass and the Kg. Paya area.
Also affected are Tanjung Gemok, Tmn. Kiara, Tmn. Sri Intan, Tmn. Ria, Tmn. Negri Lama & Baru, Tmn. Pantai Mas, Kg. Kuala Lukut, Bandar Dataran Segar, Tmn. Sentosa Lama & Baru, Tmn. PD Jaya, Tmn. Naga, Tmn. Indah Baru, Tmn. Bandar Baru, Tmn. Indah Wang, Tmn. Aman, Tmn. Bukit Tinggi, Rumah Rakyat Pekan Lukut, Tmn.
Desaru, Sri Parit area, Tmn. Indah Jaya, Lukut Indah Industrial Area, Tmn. Wawasan, Tmn. Jaya, Tmn. Tun Sambanthan, the whole area of Lukut town up to the Spring Hill area, the 6th Mile and 7th Mile areas as well as Jln. Seremban up to the Simpang Siliau area.
Other areas affected are from the Bukit Palong junction to the Bukit Palong Industrial area, Tmn. Lukut Makmur, Tmn D' Pinggiran Kota, Tmn. D' Ambang Kota, Perindustrian Perdana Bukit Palong, Kebun Jimah, Jimah Lama, Kg. Cina Site C Tanah Merah, Tmn. Jimah Jaya, Tanah Merah Site C, the whole Bukit Pelandok area and the whole of Chuah area, Golf & Country Club, PD Perdana, Desa Lagun Resort, 5th Mile camps and Jln. Pantai.
Selesa Beach Resort, Tanjung Tuan Resort, Bayu Beach Resort, 4th Mile Military Camps, Jln. Pantai, Hotel Seri Malaysia, Hotel Avillion, Hotel Risda, Cabot Factory, Hotel Corus, Hotel Sunshine Bay, SMK Datuk Haji Abdul Samad, Esso Refinery, SHELL Refinery (Line 1 & Line 2), Kidney Dialysis Centre at 1st Mile Jln. Pantai, the whole area of PD Waterfront and the whole of Port Dickson Town, Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB Tuanku Jaafar), Hotel Leparis, Health Clinic (Old Hospital), Seafront Hotel, Hotel Lexis, Glory Beach Resort, Hotel Grandpa Dataran Segar, the whole of Lukut Town up to the whole area of Spring Hill and Kualiti Alam & Loji Jimah Power.
In Seremban, the areas affected are Kg. Ulu Rantau, Sekolah Datuk Abdul Razak, RTM, Tmn. Permata, Ladang Batu 11, Ladang Kombok, Tmn. Ulu Lalang, Kg.Solok, Kg. Ribu, Kg. Sega Ulu, Kg. Sega Hilir, Jln. Kuala Sawah, Ladang Kuala Sawah, Kg. Nyatoh, Rumah Rakyat Nyatoh, Kg. Belangkan, Industri Nilam Ribu, Tmn.
Bandar Ekar, Rantau Town, Kg. Takau, Kg. Pening, Kg. Kancong, Tmn. Rantau, Jln. Air Kuning, Tmn. Permata, Kg. Siliau Hulu, Kg. Siliau Hilir, Ladang Siliau and Kg. Sungai Sendayan.
Meanwhile in Rembau, the affected areas are Tmn. Chembong Utama, Rembau (Chembong) District Police Headquarters (IPD)), Sekolah Teknik Chembong, Ladang Batu Hampar, Halal Park, Highway Pedas, Merbau 9, Kg. Pedas Batu 4 (Kanan & Kiri), Tmn. Pinggiran Pedas, Kg. Minching Baru, Sungai Ibor Batu 3, Kg. Minching Lama, Tmn. Pedas Indah, Industrial Training Institute (ILP) Pedas, Kg. Sg. Ibor ILP, Kg. Seberang Batu 2, Sek. Keb. Pedas, Kg. Seberang Batu 1, Kg. Sg. Batu, Kg. Sg. Lalah, Tmn. Pedas Perdana, Jln. Mungkal, Jln. Tok Nara, Jln. Ampang Batu, Jln. Mungkal Tobek, Jalan Tok Menteri, Jln. Tok Samad, Jln. Bunga Raya and Jln. Datuk Keramat.
"Water supply will be reconnected after the time stipulated and expected to resume in stages. However, several high ground areas are expected to experience longer supply resumption time.
"The installation and cleaning works are among the continuous efforts taken by SAINS in improving and raising water supply quality in the interest of consumers in future," the statement said today.
