672 flood victims still at evacuation centres in Johor

JOHOR BARU: The number of flood victims in Johor has dropped to 672 people at 8am today, from 702 people last night.
State Health and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said the flood victims, from 185 families, are at 16 evacuation centres in Segamat, Muar and Tangkak districts.
"Jalan Pogoh-Tekam in Segamat is opened on one lane and for heavy vehicles only, while Jalan Kampung Sungai Pinggan in Pontian is cut off due to a bridge collapse," he said in a statement here. — Bernama
