MOHE provides sponsorship programmes for teaching staff studying abroad: Idris

PUTRAJAYA: The Higher Education Ministry (MOHE) is currently providing sponsorship programmes for teaching staff furthering studies at universities abroad.
Its Minister, Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh said this at the handing over of contributions from the Malaysian Students Education Fund to 16 Malaysian final-year medical and dentistry students who are still studying in Egypt, recently.
The fund was initiated by the Federation of Peninsular Malay Students (GPMS).
Idris also said that as for application to universities abroad with self-funding, parents should do background checks on the universities that their children intend to pursue studies. — Bernama
