PHILIPPINE Airlines (PAL) recently announced the resumption of its Kuala Lumpur-Manila route from June 8, 2017. The airline withdrew its Kuala Lumpur-Manila flights three years ago due to rising fuel prices.
The resumption of this route also coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Asean.
“The reopening of the route comes during the period of Asean integration in which member states are gearing towards economic integration through increased trade, investments and employment opportunities,” said Philippine Airlines commercial group senior vice-president David A. Lim.
Lim also felt that the resumption of flights between Manila and Kuala Lumpur would help foster economic and cultural ties between the two countries.
PAL offers daily direct flights to Manila, beginning from a low promotional all-in fare of RM398. The promotion is available until March 19 for travel between June 8 and Dec 15.
To grow its share of long and short-haul markets, PAL is also offering return flights to the Far East and USA (routed through Manila) at enticing, ultra-low prices. “Our daily flights departing Kuala Lumpur will allow passengers to connect to flights on Philippine Airlines to North Pacific, Oceania, Japan and Korea,” Lim informed further.
PAL is the national flag carrier of the Republic of the Philippines and celebrates its 76th anniversary this month. The airline is proud to present a wide network of flights to 29 domestic and 44 international destinations.
