Ahmad Bashah expresses condolence to state Exco Aminuddin over son's death

​​​JITRA: Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah today visited state executive councillor (exco) Datuk Aminuddin Omar, who lost his eldest son in a road accident, yesterday evening.
In the 4.30pm incident, Muhammad Irfan Aminuddin, 20, and his friend Wan Khuzairi Wan Chik, 27, died at the scene after the Toyota Hilux they were travelling in skidded and hit a tree at KM12.7 of Jalan Kampung Bendang Perang near here.
It was raining heavily at the time.
Ahmad Bashah spent about 20 minutes consoling Aminuddin's family at their residence in Jalan Kampung Padang.
"I express my condolences to Aminuddin and his family over the loss of his eldest son, and I hope he remains patient and strong during this hard time," he told reporters here today.
Muhammad Irfan was laid to rest at the Kampung Hijrah Cemetery at 11.30pm yesterday. — Bernama
