Asia Bioenergy most active counter in morning session

PETALING JAYA: Asia Bioenergy Technologies Bhd, a technology incubation and investment holding company, was the most actively traded stock on Bursa Malaysia in the early session today.
As at 12.30pm today, the counter traded slightly lower, easing 3.12% or half a sen to 15.5 sen with 48.17 million shares changing hands. Its market capitalisation stood at RM64.03 million.
In its latest announcement to Bursa Malaysia on June 16, the group said it has proposed to acquire 100% of the share capital of Hong Kong Perfect Power Group Ltd for RM427.85.
On June 8, the group said it secured a 30-month subcontracting work worth RM220 million from Tenisha Construction Sdn Bhd for Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (Rapid) Complex, Pengerang, Johor.
