SHAH ALAM: The employees of the jewellery store which got robbed by six armed men at a hypermarket in Section 32 here are still traumatised and said that the store would be closed for two weeks for repairs.
The store in a Facebook statement said that it would resume normal operations when renovations were done.
"One of the robbers aimed his gun at our employees and we are all still traumatised on what happened.
"Give us some time and we will back in business," the shop management said in a statement today.
Meanwhile, it was reported the "bullet-proof" display counters prevent the hammer-wielding robbers from removing most of the jewellery from the outlet.
Despite repeated attempts in smashing their hammers against the showcase counters with great effort, the robbers were unable to break through the durable material and were forced to flee with only a handful of jewellery.
The robbers who wore helmets with dark visors barged into the store at about 6.28pm.

In the video, two robbers, one holding a handgun stood guard as his accomplices smashed the jewellery showcases repeatedly.
Moments later at 6.35pm, they fled the scene and escaped on three motorcycles.
Police were seen lifting fingerprints from the scene via pictures made viral in Facebook.
Netizens were amused at the robbers' botched attempts.
Shah Alam Deputy police chief Supt Nek Zaidi Zakaria confirmed the case, saying six suspects were involved in the robbery and the manhunt for them is on.
