SHAH ALAM: A poster of Pakatan Harapan's shadow cabinet was dismissed as a hoax after making its rounds at the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) annual Congress held at Dewan Raja Muda Musa here.
PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil denied the poster's authenticity and claimed that it was merely a propaganda by enemies of PKR and Pakatan Harapan.
The poster shows PKR president Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the Prime Minister and Home Minister, while DAP Secretary General Lim Guan Eng as the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister.
The poster dubbed as "Cabinet Harapan Malaysia" (Malaysia's Hopeful Cabinet) also saw former Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the Education Minister.
Muhyiddin, who had formed Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) with former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad and Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir had joined Pakatan Harapan in March.
Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) president Mohamad Sabu was given the "Information and Communication" portfolio.
PKR Deputy President and Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali was not mentioned in the poster.
The Pakatan Harapan coalition consists of PKR, DAP, PPBM and Amanah
However, the poster claimed that Sabah- based opposition party, Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) is also in the coalition.
Earlier, PKR delegates wanted the party's de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to be the next prime minister should the opposition win the 14th General Election.
