KUALA LUMPUR: Afternoon traffic along major highways is reported to be crawling as of noon following the exodus home for Aidilfitri by city dwellers.
A PLUS Malaysia Berhad told Bernama when contacted that traffic movement heading north was slow, while the flow southward was still smooth.
Meanwhile a Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman said afternoon traffic flow on the East Coast Expressway was also slow but under control.
"Traffic on other routes including Genting Sempah tunnel to Bukit Tinggi is slow-moving but southwards, is still under control," he said.
