Four charged with being members of 'Geng Pak Su'

ALOR STAR: Four men were charged at the Sessions Court here today with being members of the organised crime group "Geng Pak Su".
However, the four – Johari Ariffin, 35; Rosidi Aziz, 35; Norazif Ahmad, 37, and Shahadan Salim, 38 – pleaded not guilty to the offences.
The four men were alleged to be members of the crime group in the Kubang Pasu district from Jan 1, 2015 until Aug 30, 2017.
They were jointly charged under Section 130V (1) of the Penal Code, which provides for a jail term of up to 20 years if convicted.
The court did not offer bail for all the accused and fixed Oct 26 for next mention.
