A glorious fun time

THIS school holiday, come and party with Cartoon Network's Ben 10 and The Powerpuff Girls at the Lost World of Tambun (LWOT) in Ipoh.
Ben, as well as Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, will be playing hosts to the LWOT's Awesome Pool Party, as part of the theme park's POW Holidays! celebrations, which starts tomorrow right up to the new year on Jan 1.
Guests will get to meet and greet these favourite cartoon characters three times a day throughout this holiday period.
"Lost World of Tambun is truly the place to be for those who want to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind, to reconnect with nature and more importantly, each other," said LWOT general manager Nurul Nuzairi Mohd Azahari at the launch of the POW Holidays! celebrations.
Nuzairi added that what makes LWOT special is that it has something to offer for everyone of all ages.
"Here, we have rides, a water park, a petting zoo, hot springs, great Ipoh food … (and all) surrounded by luscious green nature. You will find something to do here."
At Toon City, Riverside, guests can take pictures with the festive decorations, inflatables, and statues of The Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10.
While there, they could also play games such as Giant Jenga, Giant Snakes & Ladders, Giant Slingshot, Shuttle Smash, Wheel of Power, and Slow & Steady.
In anticipation of the coming festive season, LWOT has erected a 20-foot-tall Christmas tree at the Malayana Village to welcome visitors.
Adding to the excitement of the whole celebration, LWOT released 1,000 balloons, each tied with a Lost World POW Holidays! ticket that can admit up to four persons, during the recent launch.
LWOT is also partnering with ETS KTMB to hold a LWOT-ETS Selfie Contest from now until Dec 31.

Participants just need to take a photo of any Lost World POW Holidays! poster or standee, and post the picture with their ETS ticket ID at a.pgtb.me/WsSkkd.
These posters and standees can be found at the six ETS stations located at KL Sentral, Gemas, Ipoh, Sungai Petani, Butterworth, and Padang Besar.
One weekly winner will get to go for a two-day-one-night Lost World Glamping experience for two adults and two children, as well as a return ETS train ticket to Padang Besar.
There are also 10 weekly consolation prizes for four LWOT entrance tickets for two adults and two children.
Additionally, those who travel to Ipoh via ETS can request a free shuttle from LWOT to take them straight from the train station to the theme park. The trip will take roughly 20 minutes.
Also, enjoy entrance tickets at discounted prices for adults, from RM58.50 for the day park and RM36 for the night hot springs and spa, from the Sunway Lost World of Tambun website.
