PUTRAJAYA: The Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry (KeTTHA) will implement the green technology syllabus in the Secondary School Standard Curriculum (KSSM) by the year 2020 in a bid to create awareness and inculcate the culture of green lifestyle among students in the country.
Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili said KeTTHA, through the Yayasan Hijau Malaysia (YaHijau) would collaborate with Universiti Sains Malaysia Centre For Education, Training and Research in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (CETREE) and the Education Ministry to review the curriculum and subjects related to the use of green technology.
He said the green technology syllabus would most probably be inserted in subjects such as Science, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
