Handal's share price rise 2.27% after announcing JV with Petronas

PETALING JAYA: Handal Resources Bhd’s share price rose 2.27% this morning on news of its joint venture with Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) for the development of subsea technology solution.
At 10.27am, its share price was 2.27% or 1 sen higher at 45 sen with 444,000 shares traded.
Yesterday, the group said its 51%-owned subsidiary Handal Simflexi Sdn Bhd received a letter of award from Petronas’ research and development arm, Petronas Research Sdn Bhd, for the initial stage of technology collaboration.
The contract is for a fixed period from June 13 until August 12.
