IJM share price rises 1.01% on office tower deal

PETALING JAYA: IJM Corp Bhd's share price rose 1.01% this morning, after it bagged a RM378 million design-and-build contract for a corporate office tower in Damansara Uptown.
At 11.33am, the stock stood at RM3 with 3.34 million shares changing hands. The group has a market capitalisation of RM10.8 billion.
IJM said its unit IJM Construction Sdn Bhd was awarded the contract by Damansara Uptown Retail Centre Sdn Bhd.
The project will feature 31 storeys with a net floor area of about 480,000 sq ft, including two levels of commercial space and 1,387 parking bays, besides landscaped open space and walkways.
