ISUZU Malaysia donated an Isuzu N-Series 5,000kg lorry for use by the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, particularly in Pahang, where the lorry will be a "valuable and timely tool" for the MRCS as the Northeast monsoon approaches in less than three months.
Kenji Matsuoka, Isuzu Malaysia CEO who handed the keys of the Isuzu lorry to MRSC secretary-general, Datuk Sayed A Rahman Sayed Mohd, hoped that the company’s contribution would enhance the society’s outreach efforts to communities in times of need.
“Preparedness for eventualities can make a huge difference in coping with natural calamities and disasters. By providing the Malaysian Red Crescent Society with one of the most dependable and efficient lorries available today, we hope that Isuzu is able to contribute towards the Society’s disaster response initiatives,” said Matsuoka.
The Isuzu N-Series 5,000kg chassis presented by Isuzu Malaysia was fitted with an aluminum box body, donated by Sri Hoong Huat Auto Trading Sdn Bhd, one of the leading lorry body builders in the country.
