KLCI falls 2.37% this morning, ringgit weakens to 3.9948

    PETALING JAYA: The local bourse tumbled as much as 42.08 points or 2.37% this morning, in line with regional market sell-off amid political crisis in Italy.
    At 10.45am, the KLCI was trading at 1,733.76 points, with losers outpacing gainers 768 to 107.
    The construction index saw the sharpest decline of 8.52 points or 3.79% to 216.04 points.
    The top losers included British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Bhd, Tenaga Nasional Bhd and Hong Leong Bank Bhd.
    Meanwhile, the ringgit weakened 0.3% to 3.9948 against US dollar as at 10.50am.
