Kuantan MP lodges police report claiming phone hacked

KUANTAN: Fuziah Salleh, the Member of Parliament for Kuantan, today lodged a police report at the district's police headquarters here claiming that her handphone had been hacked.
She claimed that her telephone number was being misused by irresponsible people to spread SMSes that were of a seditious nature.
Speaking to reporters after lodging the police report, Fuziah said she found about this latest development at 7pm yesterday.
She said she wanted the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to investigate the matter and take action against the culprit or culprits as she feared this could jeopardise her political career. — Bernama
