#MagicMoments with Somersby Cider

    SHOPPERS were ­puzzled recently by the sight of two giant apples erected at two popular shopping malls in the Klang ­Valley – Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Sunway Pyramid in Bandar Sunway.
    The giant apples were erected by Somersby in conjunction with the launch of its #­MagicMoments campaign, where it gave away 4,000 bottles of its best-selling cider.
    At the launch, Carlsberg Malaysia marketing ­director Charles Wong said: "Life is hectic, ­especially living in the city. No one would have thought of getting a free Somersby Cider on a Thursday while heading out for lunch. This is one of those little pleasures in life.
    "We are happy that we put a smile on our consumers' face and this is simply magical. (You) can live your #MagicMoments with ­Somersby too!"
    Samples of both Somersby Apple and Somersby Blackberry were also given away at Gurney Paragon Mall in Penang and Sutera Mall in Johor.
    Meanwhile, consumers at ­Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Sunway Pyramid had a gala time taking photos, and playing with the brand's newly-introduced augmented reality app called Somersby Malaysia.
    By scanning the QR code and downloading the app, visitors were able to post creative, interactive photos on their Instagram and Facebook accounts.
    Consumers also stand a chance of winning a three-day-two-night all-expense-paid trip to Singapore from now till Sept 30.
    Just purchase any four-can or four-bottle pack of Somersby Cider, take a creative 3D animated photo with the Somersby Malaysia app and post it on ­Instagram. The photo with the most likes will win.
    There are also several weekly prizes to be won as well.
