Mahathir arrives for Pakatan presidential council meeting

KUALA LUMPUR: The Pakatan Harapan (PH) presidential council is expected to finalise its list of candidates proposed for positions in the country's new cabinet soon.
Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was seen arriving at the Yayasan Al-Bukhary, here, along with several other PH component party leaders for the meeting scheduled at 10am, today.
His convoy was seen entering the building's premises at 9.35am.
Other leaders who arrived shortly afterwards include PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and presidential council member Datuk Saifuddin Nasution, Amanah president Mohamad Sabu, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and organising secretary Anthony Loke were among those spotted entering the premises.
Saifuddin when met after the meeting said Mahathir is presently chairing a special meeting with the PH' component party leaders except for Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who is in Johor to seek an audience with the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar
The Inspector-General of Police was also seen entering the building at 10.30am.
Mahathir is expected to conduct a press conference following the meeting.
