MAHB shares fall further on Turkey lira crisis

    PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd’s (MAHB) share price fell further this morning on the back of the Turkey lira crisis.
    At midday, the stock was 0.86% or 8 sen lower at RM9.25 with 4.71 million shares traded, making it the eighth top loser in the morning session. Yesterday, it was the top loser on Bursa Malaysia, sliding 5.38% or 53 sen to RM9.33 with 12 million shares done.
    Last week, the US doubled tariffs on Turkish steel and aluminium. It also renewed sanctions on Iran, from where half of Turkey's oil imports come.
    MAHB operates the Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport together with its consortium partners Limak Group and GMR Infrastructure Ltd.
