Man drowned after falling into Sarawak River while fishing

KUCHING: The man who fell from his boat while fishing in the Sarawak river near Kampung Paroh here today, was found drowned an hour later.
The victim was identified as Mohd Rais Salihin, 30, from Kampung Gita Lama.
According to Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman, the body of the man was found by villagers at 1.55pm not far from the spot he was believed to have fallen. — Bernama
