MBPJ reintroduces coupon parking system after 20 years

PETALING JAYA: Today marked the launch of the coupon parking system for motorists here – some 20 over years since the system was discontinued in the 1990s.
But parking meters currently in use will continue to be operational.
"The parking coupon is an additional product for the public to use," said Bukit Gasing assemblyman Rajiv Rishyakaran.
Rajiv joined Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) officers today to distribute some coupons to the public at PJ Old Town parking areas.
He also urged the people to become agents to sell the parking coupons to the public.
