Motorcyclist killed in crash

KUALA LUMPUR: A motorcyclist on a high-powered bike was killed when the machine skidded and crashed into a lamp post near the United States Embassy at Jalan Tun Razak here last night.
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement head ACP Zulkefly Yahya identified the victim as Muhammad Hanif Mohamad Zin, 29.
The incident occurred at about 10.15 pm when Muhammad Hanif was heading towards Bulatan Pahang from Kampung Pandan.
He was believed to have lost control of the motorcycle at a bend, causing the machine to skid, before crashing into a lamp post and burst into flame, he said when contacted here today.
Muhammad Hanif died at the scene due to serious head injury. — Bernama
