One killed, six injured in Temerloh accident

TEMERLOH: A woman was killed while six people were injured in a two-vehicle collision involving a Proton Persona and Honda City cars at KM134 of Jalan Kuala Lumpur-Kuantan yesterday afternoon.
Temerloh district police chief ACP Zundin Mahmood said Mek Nab Zakaria, 58, the driver of the Proton Persona car, died at the scene while her two passengers, Zainab Hashim, 55, and Abdul Wahid Husin, 46, suffered from fractured leg and arms.
"Other injured victims are Ibrahim Mohamad, 47 (driver of Honda City car), his two children – Muhammad Shahril Ibrahim, 3, and Nursyazwiera Ibrahim, 5, – and his friend, Lunajara Anak Endit, 40," he said when contacted here yesterday.
Zundin said the body was taken to the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital here for post mortem while other victims were being treated at the same hospital. — Bernama
