Paedophile teacher still on the loose

PETALING JAYA: A temporary teacher of a top Chinese school in Selangor was dismissed after it was found that he had been sexually abusing a Year 3 pupil in the teacher's toilet.
The school tried to hush up the matter but it came to light when a parent who came to know about it posted it on social media.
According to China Press, the "paedophile" has been the victim's language class teacher since Year 1 and it is yet to be ascertained if the abuse had started then or if there are also other victims.
It is learnt that another teacher had inadvertently discovered the paedophile teacher's perversion during the weekly assembly on July 17.
A source told the daily the teacher became suspicious when the victim, who was late for the assembly, was evasive when asked to give reasons for being late.
He checked the school's CCTVs and found that the teacher and the victim had entered the teacher's toilet together.
Further checks on the CCTV recordings showed that the duo had been going into the same toilet many times in the recent past.
"Further investigation revealed that the abuse had started when the victim was in Year 1 and the duo spent about an hour in the toilet each time," said the source.
The report said the temporary teacher admitted to having sexually abused the pupil when confronted by the school authority.
A school gardener said he had seen the pupil going into the teacher's toilet with the teacher in question on many occasions but was not aware of what went on behind the closed door.
It was understood that the teacher, aged 27, was hired by another school right after he was sacked but was dropped like a hot potato when told the reason he was fired from his previous post.
