Phee to be remanded tomorrow morning

BUTTERWORTH: Penang State Welfare, Caring Society and Environment Committee Phee Boon Poh who was detained today was brought back to his house by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers.
He arrived at his house at the gated residential community in Taman Desa Oren at about 5pm in his MPV.
He was escorted by two MACC vehicles.
Sources from MACC said Phee was brought back to his house to pack some of his belongings and to retrieve some documents pertaining to the investigation into the illegal factory in Kampung Sungai Lembu.
MACC officers and Phee left the house at about 7pm.
The Sungai Puyu assemblyman is expected to be brought to the Penang High Court tomorrow morning to be remanded in connection with the probe.
