PM Najib joins Malaysians in Manila for Friday prayers

MANILA: Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak today joined Malaysians in Manila for Friday prayers.
About 70 Malaysians were there at the Malaysian Embassy in Makati, Manila.
Najib, who is here for the 30th Asean Summit and Related Meetings also spent some time with Malaysians at the Embassy.
Also present were the Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines, Datuk Raszlan Abdul Rashid and delegation members from Malaysia, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Datuk Sri Anifah Aman, Minister of International Trade and Industry, Datuk Sri Mustapa Mohamed, and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan.
Besides attending the Summit tomorrow, Najib, who is also the Finance Minister is expected to hold Interface sessions with representatives of the Asean Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA).
He will also chair the 10th Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Summit as well as attend the 12th Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East Asean Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Summit, to be chaired by President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines. — Bernama
