Pos M'sia issues KL2017 Champions commemorative envelope, stamp

KUALA LUMPUR: Pos Malaysia Bhd will issue Kita Juara Sukan SEA 2017 (SEA Games Champions 2017) commemorative envelope and stamp on Dec 19 to mark the success of the Malaysian contingent at KL2017.
"The commemorative envelope will feature KL2017's official mascot, Rimau dressed in golden sports attire. Only 25,000 stamps will be issued for the special edition printed using gold hot stamping'
"It is to commemorate the country's success at KL2017," said Pos Malaysia Stamp and Philately Unit head Diyana Lean Abdullah here, today.
The commemorative envelope will be sold at RM3.20 each. The cancellation mark for the stamp is the design of three running athletes.
Pos Malaysia issued a special stamp on Aug 21 in conjunction with Kuala Lumpur hosting the 2017 SEA Games (KL2017).
The Malaysian contingent emerged as the overall champions of the 29th SEA Games by winning 145 gold medals, 92 silver and 86 bronze. — Bernama
