KUALA LUMPUR: The National Defence Study Centre (Puspahanas), currently under construction at Precinct 1 in Putrajaya, is expected to begin operation in June next year, Malaysian Armed Forces chief General Tan Sri Zulkifli Zainal Abidin said today.
He said the centre would house the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College (MPAT), the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MTAT), the Malaysian Institute of Defence and Security (MIDAS) and a new college, the National Defence College (NDC), all under one roof.
"The first course at the centre will start in Sept next year after the move of the colleges to the new premises, to be carried out in stages beginning June," he told reporters after being declared the 10th member of the Hall of Fame at MPAT here today.
The declaration was made by MPAT Commandant Datuk Sabri Zali.
