Store worker kills himself after murdering colleague

KUALA LUMPUR: A sundry store worker killed himself after allegedly murdering his colleague following a heated argument early this morning at Taman Selayang, Batu Caves here.
The 42-year-old owner of the store who tried to break up the fight between the Indian nationals was seriously wounded after being stabbed with a sharp object.
Police said the dead foreigners were identified as Sahubar Ali, 51 and Aathamsa Raja Mohammed, 32.
Initial investigations revealed that the Aathamsa had allegedly attacked Sahubar with a sharp object killing the man when the fight broke out at the store.
He allegedly stabbed his employer when the man intervened to stop the fight.
Policemen later found Aathamsa hanged in the store after passers-by who witnessed the fight alerted the police at about 1am.
Gombak police chief ACP Ali Ahmad said today that police personnel who went to the store found both the foreigners dead and the store owner injured.
He said the store owner, who is a Malaysian was sent to the Selayang Hospital for treatment while the bodies of the dead men were sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem.
Ali said investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the altercation.
