TAS Offshore falls 1.37% on Q3 net loss

PETALING JAYA: TAS Offshore Bhd's share price fell half a sen or 1.37% this morning, after it posted a net loss of RM569,000 in the third quarter ended Feb 28, 2018 against a net profit of RM1.3 million a year ago.
At 10.54am, the stock stood at 36 sen with 481,000 shares changing hands. It has a market capitalisation of RM63.2 million.
Revenue for the quarter under review fell by 45.96% to RM7.39 million from RM13.69 million.
The group said it remains optimistic on its prospects, noting the improving climate of the oil and gas industry is conducive for a potential surge in new orders for offshore support vessels.
