Traffic slow moving on several major highways as at 5pm

KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic flow on several major highways was reported to be slow as at 5pm today due to the rise in traffic volume.
A PLUS Malaysia Berhad spokesman said the traffic in Penang was slow moving from Bertam heading to Sungai Dua and from Seberang Jaya towards Perai.
"Traffic is also slow in Perak from Changkat Jering to Bukit Berapit, Kuala Kangsar to Sungai Perak Rest and Service area, Simpang Pulai to Simpang Pulai Lay-by, Tapah to Bidor, and from Sungkai to Slim River.
"In the south, traffic is slow moving in Johor from Pandan towards Pasir Gudang, Kempas to Pasir Gudang, and from Senawang to Seremban in Negeri Sembilan," he said when contacted by Bernama here.
Meanwhile, according to the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) Twitter, traffic was slow moving after the Bentong toll plaza heading to Lentang, while the traffic flow on the East Coast Expressway 1 and 2 was still smooth and under control.
