Two Chinese nationals among three killed in Sarawak road accident

    MIRI: Two Chinese nationals were killed and another was badly injured in a road accident on the Bintulu-Tatau Road today that also took the life of the driver of the four-wheel-drive vehicle they were travelling in.
    Zhao Shugang, 51, and Hao Ping, 44, died in the accident between their Hilux vehicle and a trailer lorry along the Bintulu-Tatau Road at 7.40am, said Bintulu Police chief ACP Zailanni Amit.
    The injured passenger of the vehicle was Tang Dingping, 43, while the Malaysian driver who was also killed was Kong Tze Hua, 57, he said in a statement.
    Zailanni said the 44-year-old driver of the trailer lorry was unhurt and had been detained to help in the investigation into the accident.
    He said the lorry was heading from Sibu to Bintulu and the Hilux was going in the other direction when the accident happened. — Bernama
