SEREMBAN: Two students of an institution of higher learning were ordered to be on remand in connection with the abduction of a 10-year-old girl at the Port Dickson Polytechnic's staff quarters last Sunday.
One of the students, aged 21, was ordered to be remanded for six days, while the other, aged 18, for four days.
The remand order against the two male students was issued by the Special Court (Remand) Senior Assistant Registrar Rahimah Rahim.
The two suspects were arrested by the police about 4.45pm yesterday at a shopping centre in Seremban.
The girl, Faralisa Amani Fadzil, was reported missing at about 6am last Sunday.
She was found missing from her room when her father wanted to wake her up for school.
However, she was found at about 9pm the same day at the guard house of the polytechnic, believed to have been left there by her abductors. — Bernama
