(Video) Fire at motorcycle shop results in multiple explosions

KUALA LUMPUR: A fire at a motorcycle shop in Cheras, resulted in a series of explosions that damaged other motorbikes in the shop.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Facebook information groups which posted about the incident described the fire as starting at the motorcycle shop in Taman Kasturi, Cheras before spreading.
The fire forced people to evacuate from shoplots nearby.
When contacted, a spokesman for the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said the department was alerted to the incident at 12.50pm.
"Two fire engines from Kajang and Serdang fire stations with 17 personnel were deployed to the scene," he said.
He added the operation to put out the fire ended at 1.25pm.
No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident but the fire completely destroyed the motorcycle shop.
The cause of the fire and the amount of losses are still being investigated.
