Yinson shares rise 2.39% on higher Q3 earnings

    PETALING JAYA: Yinson Holdings Bhd, which recorded a 44% jump in its third quarter earnings, saw its share price rise 2.66% this morning.
    At 12.04am, its share price was 2.39% or nine sen higher at RM3.86 with a total of 123,700 million shares changing hands. The stock fell 5 sen or 1.3% to close at RM3.76 yesterday on some 159,500 shares done.
    The group has a market capitalisation of RM4.09 billion.
    For the third quarter ended Oct 31, 2017, its net profit surged 44.4% to RM91.16 million compared with RM63.11 million in the previous corresponding period.
    This was due to higher profit contribution from the FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor, lower impairment loss on property, plant and equipment as well as net favourable exchange movement of RM7.8 million.
